The Cottage

Morland Cottage is a holiday home in a perfect location to explore the Yorkshire Dales, situated just off the high street in Pateley Bridge in the Nidderdale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Local amenities include shops, pubs, restaurants, butchers and takeaways, all within a few minutes walk.

The cottage can sleep up to 6 guests in 3 bedrooms. The main bedroom is downstairs and can be made up with either a superking or twin beds. Upstairs you will find bedroom 2 with a king size bed and bedroom 3 with bunk beds. All bedrooms have blackout blinds for a good night's sleep.

The cottage has a mix of traditional and modern decor. The original cottage was built in the early 19th Century but has been extended more recently with the addition of a modern, well-equipped kitchen and a sun room with patio doors leading out on to the sun terrace. The south-facing terrace is private and enclosed, and is an ideal space to relax in the warmer months.

The main living areas are more traditional but surprisingly spacious. There is a good size dining area with an extending table, and the living room has a fantastic view out towards Greenhow Hill. There is a large family bathroom downstairs with a separate bath and large shower, and a further WC upstairs (please note this WC has restricted headroom).

You will find the cottage well equipped for your stay:

  • All towels and linen provided

  • Wireless bluetooth speaker

  • Smart TVs in the living room and sun room with access to Netflix and all major streaming apps as well as terrestrial TV channels

  • Iron and ironing board

  • Hairdryer

  • Washer/dryer

  • A high chair and travel cot are available on request

The cottage has private parking for 2 cars, and there is further street parking close by if required. Please note that the cottage is on the first floor and accessed by an external staircase leading up to the sun terrace.

Unfortunately we cannot accept dogs due to the owner's allergies. Morland Cottage is a no smoking property.
